Katie Jo Rodgers

Katie Jo Rodgers, 17, of Webster Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 25 2023, in Summersville. She was born September 29, 2005 in Buckhannon. A daughter of Ralph Rodgers and Regina Lynne Brown.

Katie was a student at Webster County High School. She enjoyed arts and crafts, listening to all kinds of music, reading, swimming, and photography. Katie loved spending time with her son Carter and all of her friends.

Along with her parents left to cherish her memory is her son, Carter Paul Rodgers of Webster Springs, sister, India Rodgers of Webster Springs, stepmother Shery Woodard of Webster Springs, and several extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty L. Palmer, Paul Brown, Virginia Rodgers, and Ralph Rodgers.

Katie’s wishes for cremation have been honored with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
