Josephine Emma Hamrick Perrine

Josephine Emma Hamirick Perrine, 89, of Erbacon, passed away on August 18, 2017, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was always laughing, always had a kind word, and was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. Josephine was born January 8, 1928, a daughter of the late Charley and Alta Dodrill Hamrick.

Josephine was a Sunday school teacher at the Erbacon Community Church and was a Baptist by faith.

She was united in marriage on July 15, 1944 to Delbert Perrine, who preceded her death on July 9, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and five brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Osburn(Sally) Perrine; daughters Beverly (Freddie) Myers, Deloris Taylor, Patsy (Abe) Holcomb, Patricia (Arthur) Weese; 27 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren; sister Betty Jo Lynch and brother Stanley Hamrick.

Services will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00pm at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen. Burial will follow at the home of her daughter Patsy and Abe Holcomb in Erbacon.
