Jean Metz

Jean Metz, 92, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Cowen, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at St. John’s Medical Center, West Lake, Ohio. She was born July 21, 1924 in Shinnston, WV, a daughter of the late Junie and Helen Bragg Bennett.

She is survived by son, Larry (Catherine) Metz of Cowen; daughters, Barbara Permelia of Avon Lake, Oh, and Sue Lewis of Cowen, WV, a daughter-in-law Nancy Metz of Cowen; step-daughter, Debbie Mazzella (Tony) of Cowen,WV, step-son Jeff (Beverly) Perkins of Richwood, WV; eleven grandchildren and several great-granchildren.

In addition to her parents, a son Jerry Metz, grandsons Roger Roberts and Danny Metz, and son-in-law Bill Lewis preceded her in death.

Following services in Ohio, a Graveside Service and burial was held at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin, WV.
