James Oscar Lee Wilson

In loving memory of James Oscar Lee Wilson of Erbacon, born on December 13, 1971, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, he peacefully passed away on February 8, 2026, at CAMC General in Charleston, WV with his loving sister holding his hand. A man of robust spirit and deep convictions, Oscar was not just known for his career as the owner of W/W Logging, but also for his unwavering faith and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him.

Oscar had a remarkable personality, embracing life with joy, always eager to share his love for good food and heartwarming movies with family and friends. He found delight in the simple pleasures, whether it was sitting by a campfire during a camping trip or casting a line during a quiet day of fishing. He found solace and strength in his faith as a Christian, which guided him through every chapter of his life.

He leaves behind a cherished family who will forever hold his memory close. His beloved son, Jonathon Mullens of Erbacon, carries on his legacy of love and dedication. Oscar is also survived by his siblings: Kelsey (Jim) Varney of Camden on Gauley, Mitchell (Deveny) Wilson of Erbacon, and Laura (Jason) Barnhouse of Webster Springs and extended family and friends he had made throughout the years. The laughter and joy in his life were amplified by his grandchildren—Gunner, Holden, and Freedom—who brought him immense pride and happiness.

Oscar’s parents, Oscar and Bonnie Wilson, and his son, James Franklin Wilson, preceded him in death, leaving a void that cannot be filled but a legacy that will always remain alive in the hearts of those who loved him.
