Jacob E. “Jake” Collins

Jacob E. “Jake” Collins, 48, of Cowen, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, He was born July 18, 1971 in Webster Springs, a son of Douglas Collins and Joanne Remeides.

Jake was disabled. He was involved with the Webster Search and Rescue and enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to the radio, sitting and watching traffic go by his house. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughter, McKenna K. Collins of Kentucky, brothers, Ellis Collins of Cowen and Doug Collins of Erbacon, sister, Maria Ebarb of Louisiana and many other family and friends.

Sister, Janice Bean preceded him in death.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Woods Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12:00 until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
