Ira Keith Strickland, of Dille, West Virginia, and a former valued member of the Cleveland automotive community and a cherished individual known for his passions and faith, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at the Glenville Health Center in Glenville, West Virginia. He was 64 years old.

Born on February 2, 1962, in Sutton, West Virginia, Keith's early life in this small town laid the foundation for a lifetime of dedication and achievement. He was a proud graduate of Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio, where he developed a strong work ethic that would later define his professional career.

Keith's 23-year tenure at Ganley Dodge in Cleveland, Ohio, was marked by excellence and commitment. His numerous awards, citations, and certifications from the Dodge Corporation stand testament to his expertise and dedication in the automotive field. Colleagues and clients alike recognized him not only for his skills but also for his approachable character and unwavering professionalism.

Beyond his professional life, Keith was a man of varied interests and talents. He took great joy in cooking, a pastime that allowed him to express creativity and bring people together. His mechanical knowledge extended beyond the workplace, as he loved working on cars and enjoyed the freedom of the open road riding his Harley. These hobbies were central to his identity and brought him immense satisfaction.

Keith's personal faith journey was a cornerstone of his life. He proudly became a Christian by Faith, an accomplishment he regarded as paramount. Additionally, he was a member of the Hell’s Angel’s Motorcycle Club, a reflection of his adventurous spirit and camaraderie with like-minded enthusiasts.

His life was enriched by the presence of family and friends, who will remember him fondly. Ira is survived by his sister Retta (Rock) Dodrill of Dillie, and his sister-in-law Sharon Strickland of Dillie. He was also beloved by many nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his father Buell Strickland, mother Zelda Frame Strickland Poley, stepfather Ross Poley, brother Joseph Strickland, and sister Kista Strickland.

Ira Keith Strickland’s legacy is one of dedication, faith, and a zest for life that touched all who knew him. His contributions to his profession, his steadfast beliefs, and his warm companionship are remembered with respect and admiration. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he impacted.

Keith's wishes for cremation are being honored, with no services at this time.
