Hildred Josephine Hoover

Hildred Josephine Hoover, 73, of Blacksville WV, formerly of Cowen, WV, passed away September 10, 2018 at her residence, after an extended illness. Jo was born August 4, 1945, in Cowen, WV, a daughter of the late William and Vera Bender Boggs.

She was a homemaker and a former member of the Eastern Star.

Jo is survived by her children: Robin Hoover of Morgantown, Ellen Kathleen Miller of Charleston, and William Charles Hoover of Blacksville. Siblings: Conley Boggs of Paden City, Lenore Beckett of Cowen, Wilma Thomas of Beckley, Billie Morrison of Moundsville and Barbara Beckett of Paden City. Grandchildren: Edward Emmanuel Miller and Charles Craig Riffle.

In addition to her parents, husband Charles Hoover and brother James Addison Boggs preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, September 15, 2018 with Pastor Jim Varney officiating. Burial will follow at Handschumacher Cemetery, Upper Glade, WV.
