Helen June Beam

Helen June Beam, 77 of Cowen, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Holbrook on the Hill Care Center, Buckhannon after an extended illness. She was born June 26, 1942 in Holly Junction, Braxton County, a daughter of the late Glen and Louise Gillespie Morrison.

June was a former waitress, homemaker and a Methodist by Faith. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading and shopping and visiting with family and friends.

Surviving is her daughter, April (Phillip) Donathan of Stoney Point, North Carolina, brother, James Morrison of Cowen, sisters, Ruby Meadows of Cowen, Ruth Morrison of Braxton County, Rosetta Johnson of Camden on Gauley and Ramona Morrison of Braxton County and granddaughter, Destinee Donathan and many other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, husband Elmer Beam preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin with Pastor Doug Martin and Pastor Ben Stone officiating.
