Harvey Howard Jones, Jr.

Harvey Howard Jones, Jr., 78, of Craigsville, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born January 21, 1943 in Racine, Wisconsin, a son of the late Harvey Howard Jones Sr., and Doris June McCool Jones.

Harvey worked many years at a Fiberglass Manufacturing Plant in Valparaiso, Indiana then upon moving to West Virginia, he spent many years working in the coal mines. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cowboy boots, hats and was extremely skilled in Karate.

Surviving is his loving wife and best friend of 46 years, Shelba Blake Jones, daughter, Kim Jones of Wisconsin,  step-children, Debra (Sammy) Donaldson of Upper glade, Robin Rowan of South Carolina and Pam Sawyer of Cowen. Siblings, Charlie Jones of Minnesota, Jody Dorvak of Arizona and Pat Jones of California, grandchildren, Wesley, Samantha, Jessica, Emily, Alexandra, Jacob, Travis, Hannah, Josh, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Harvey wishes for cremation have been honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
