Glenn Preston Linkous

Glenn Preston Linkous, 46, of Cowen, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, after an extended illness. He was born January 10, 1975 in Kanawha County, a son of the late James and Barbara Garvin Linkous.

Glenn was a former carpenter and mechanic, a jack of all trades. He enjoyed helping others, a good drink and socializing with family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Nicole Paugh of Erbacon and Preston Linkous of Huntington, siblings, Dora Hamrick, Billy Stephenson, Eugene Stephenson, Mark Linkous and Kenneth Linkous, 4 grandchildren and many extended family.

In addition to his parents siblings, Carolyn Potter, Betty McCartney and James Linkous Sr., preceded him in death.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm. Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Gospel Fellowship Church Cemetery, Upper Glade.
