Gladys Maxine Jarvis Faulkner

Gladys Maxine Jarvis Faulkner, 82, of Cowen passed away July 7, 2017 at Webster County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born April 29, 1935 at Camp Caesar, a daughter of the late Everett Sr. and Lora Hammons Nicholas.

She was a disabled truck driver having worked for JB Hunt and Munson’s Transportation. She enjoyed raising her grandchildren, reading, crocheting and drinking coffee.

Maxine is survived by her children, Lora Lee (Virgil) Hamrick of Powhatan, Va, Larry Jarvis of Cowen, and Sue Jarvis of Cowen; Siblings Everett Nicholas Jr. of Charleston and Susan Mace of Hacker Valley; Grandchildren: Jimmy (Tammy) Mustoe, Bub (Lynida) Mustoe, Brenda (Mike) Jaszcz, Christy Mustoe (JoAnn Ball), Brett Naylor, Dannah Jarvis, Aerial Jarvis, Kassie (Daniel) Givens, Trenton Bothwell, Christian Jarvis, Danielle Williams and Shalee Williams; Great Grandchildren: Katie Mustoe, James Mustoe, Lynida Sue Mustoe, Nick Mustoe, Dylan Jaszcz, Conor Jaszcz, Xak Naylor, Nevaeh Naylor, Serenity Peyatt, and Chance Peyatt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Burnell Jarvis and Gerald Faulkner; Son, Don Hall; Brothers, Bill Nicholas and Lloyd Nicholas.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at McFarlane Chapel Church, Coe, West Virginia with Pastor Jim Varney and Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Alex Williams Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen.
