Gary Edward Keffer Jr.

Gary Edward Keffer Jr., 44, of Cowen, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 after an accident on the Colorado River.

He was born April 14, 1972 in Summersville, a son of Gary Keffer Sr. and Marilyn Sanson Keffer.

Gary was in Colorado working in the construction field, doing what he did best, hanging and finishing drywall. He enjoyed talking, texting and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by children, Zack Keffer, Jessica ( Will) Preast of Chimney Corner, Kierra Hobart of Summersville, Sage Keffer of Florida, Gavin Keffer of Florida; brother, Rodney Keffer of Indiana; sisters, Crystal Keffer of Craigsville, Robin(Robby) Oeding of Indiana; grandchildren, Marlie Preast and Mahaeylah Hobart.

Service will be 2:00PM, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Carmel Sanson officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen, WV.

Services were entrusted to the care of Morris Funeral Home.
