Evelyn Marie Van Hoy Lockett

Evelyn Marie Van Hoy Lockett, age 95 of Summersville, WV, passed away at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV on April 16, 2023. Marie was born in Washington DC to Hubert Eugene Van Hoy and Inez Gertrude Sterling Van Hoy.

Marie was married to Russell Myers Lockett for 68 years, and together they had four children:  Jan Marie, Dana Lynn, Russell III, and
Thomas Thadeus.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Dana (J.D.) Holbrook of Summersville, WV; son Tom (Maria) Lockett of Edgewater, MD. Marie is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Jan Marie Lockett and son Russell M. Lockett, III.

There will be no service/viewing.  Interment will be with her husband, Russell in a National Veterans Cemetery.
