Elizabeth Luzier Beckett

Elizabeth Luzier Beckett passed away March 11, 2025, in Conroe, Texas. She was the daughter of Agnes Riffle Carpenter and the late Edgel Luzier. She was a former resident of Craigsville, WV.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Glenville University and an employee of Lone Star Downhole Products LLC.

Preceding her in death were her son Allen Hurst, father Edgel Luzier, sister, Loretta Foster, husband Leslie Beckett and sister Beverly Barbe.

Remaining here to cherish Elizabeth’s memory are her grandson Braiden Mullins, daughter Rebecca Griffith and son-in-law Cecil Griffith, ex-husband Herman Hurst and spouse, Delores, nephews Kenney Gum and Bradley Barbe and numerous friends.

Elizabeth was a very active Democrat and a former NCDEC committee member. She was very involved in her community in Craigsville. Most important in her life was her grandson Braiden. Libby, you will forever be in our hearts.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, WV. Libby’s wishes for cremation will then be honored.
