Douglas Norman King

Douglas Norman King, 67, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2026.

Born April 9, 1958, in Richwood, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Arnold King and Macil Roberts (Woodring)

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike King and Blaine King, and his sister, Elizabeth King.

Douglas is survived by his sisters, Susan “Kathy” Short (William) of Camden-on-Gauley and Agnes Barnett (Jack) of Rock Cave; his brothers, George King of Cowen and Danny King of Cowen; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Doug enjoyed spending his days with his brothers junking, tearing down old houses and buildings, and working on vehicles. He was known for doing what he loved alongside family and living life on his own terms.

In keeping with Doug’s wishes, he will be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
