Donzel Ray Chapman

Donzel Ray Chapman, 69, of Upper Glade, passed away on August 11, 2023 at Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins, WV after a short illness. He was born December 25, 1953 in Richwood, a son of Juanita Landreth.

Donzel was a graduate of Richwood. He was a plant foreman for Weyerhaeuser. Donzel was a WVU fan; enjoyed watching TV; reading (especially drama); playing golf; and hunting Indian Artifacts.

In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are his companion, Tara Bothwell; son Logan (Ashley) Chapman; grandchildren, Zoey and Jax Chapman; brothers, Dennis Landreth; and Dale (Jennifer) Landreth; twin sister, Diane Adams; and sister, Dennis Boggs and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stella Chapman; brother, David Chapman, sister, Deborah Chapman and brother in law, Chris Adams.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the Handschumacher Cemetery in Upper Glade with Brent Lake presiding.
