Donna R. Hinkle

Donna R. Hinkle, 76, went to be with the lord on the evening of February 28, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Donna was a loving, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who deeply loved and cared for her family and friends.

Donna was born on September 10, 1944 and has resided in Boggs, West Virginia most of her life. She retired from managing the Boggs General Store, where she loved serving her community before becoming a homemaker. Donna was an avid yard seller, and enjoyed decorating her home with numerous collectibles, including porcelain dolls, Fenton glassware, and home interior. Donna also enjoyed watching Nascar, WVU basketball, and traveling with her family.

Donna is preceded in death by her father, Hazel Roberts, mother Ethel Bragg Roberts, husband Gary (Doc) Hinkle, and sister, Sharon Hart.

Donna is survived by her children Steve (Karen) Hinkle of Appomattox, Virginia, Lisa (late Tim) Miller of Boggs, West Virginia, and Jerry (Juanita) Hinkle of Boggs, West Virginia, grandchildren Ciera Miller, Steven Hinkle, Alexa Hinkle, Timothy Miller, Kyle Hinkle, Chianne Hoke, Dylan Epps, Hannah Epps, Shauna Joplin, and Kayla Griffith, great grandchildren, Hailey, Noah, Matthew, Natalie, Trevor, Jaxon, Aliyah, Riley, Mason and Naconna.

Donna was deeply loved and will be missed by all that knew her.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1pm-2:30pm Wednesday March 3,2021 at Morris Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 3pm Wednesday March 3, 2021 at the Bragg Run cemetery with Pastor Carmel Sanson officiating.
