Donald Wayne Wolford

Donald Wayne Wolford passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at his home. He was born August 17, 1953, in Swickley, Pennsylvania, a son of the late George Wolford and Betty Lashley.

Donald was a 1971 graduate of Webster Springs High School and a graduate of WVU. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and the National Guard. Donald was a member of the Methodist Church and the Isaac Walton League. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, computers, cooking and playing chess.

Surviving is his mother, Betty Lashley of Cowen; sister Brenda Wolford of Fairmont; nephew, Michael Wolford of Bridgeport, WV, and nieces Megan Hellerd of Archer, FL, and Mary Peyatt of Brooklyn, NY.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother Phillip Wolford.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Miller Family Cemetery on Miller Mountain, Webster Springs, with Linda Dyer officiating.
