Donald Gene Williams, 75 of Craigsville, passed away on January 31, 2025, at WVU Ruby Memorial in Morgantown.

Donald was born in Baltimore Maryland on December 10, 1949, the son of the late Vernon Williams and Loraine Valentine.

Donald previously worked for the Caroline Speedway track maintenance and construction. He was an avid bowler, loved watching races, eating out, fishing, and camping. Donald was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Craigsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Crystal Ball and brother Larry Williams.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Williams, Jr. (Amy) and Richard Williams (Michelle) both of Gastonia, NC; three sisters, Sheila Bode of Bel Air, MD and Shelly Short of Dundalk, MD and Debbie Biedrzycki of Meadville, WV; seven grandchildren and special friend Molly Woodring.

Donalds’ wishes for cremation have been honored.

Graveside services will be held, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Alex Williams Cemetery on Cranberry Ridge, Camden on Gauley, WV with Pastor Michael Adkins officiating.
