Delvena Gay Holbrook

Delvena Gay Holbrook, 83, of Williams River, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her residence, with her family by her side. She was born April 7, 1937 in Webster County, a daughter of the late Calvin “Calvie” and Fannie Wilson McCartney. In addition to her parents, her loving husband of 56 years Donald Ray Holbrook and sons, Danny Holbrook and Kenny Holbrook preceded her in death.

Delvena was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, treasure searching and just enjoyed being in the outdoors.

Surviving are her children, Carol McCourt, Mike Holbrook and Jeff Holbrook all of Williams River, brother, Clarence Wilson of Ohio, sister, Shirley Morrison of Tioga, grandchildren, Sam McCourt, Casey McCourt and Hayden Bogges, great-grandchildren, Caysen McCourt, Dawsyn McCourt, Tatum McCourt and Kyser McCourt and a host of friends.

Service will be held at 5:30pm Friday, August 14, 2020 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Larry Lovely officiating. Delvena wishes for cremation will then be honored.
