David Foor

David Foor, a beloved figure with a zest for life, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born in Everett, Pennsylvania, on October 16, 1964, he dedicated much of his life to his work as a Logger—a job that perfectly suited his love for the outdoors and hard work.

David was not just about work, though. He found joy in a variety of hobbies that truly reflected his adventurous spirit. If he wasn’t out logging, you could probably find him hunting or fishing, making the most of nature’s bounty. Skiing was another thrill he chased, alongside the simple pleasures of mowing the grass and tackling yardwork, which he somehow made enjoyable.

David is survived by his daughter, Nannette Louise Foor McDaniel Moore, his sister, Ellen Malcomb, and his brothers, Earl and Edward Miller. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Sophie McDaniel and Sadie Moore, who were bright spots in his life. David’s parents, Daniel E. Miller and Charlotte Ruby Foor Miller, preceded him in death.

True to his wishes, David’s remains have been cremated, and there are no services scheduled at this time. He lived life on his own terms, and that’s how he will always be remembered—full of spirit, laughter, and countless memories shared with family and friends.
