Dalton Emerson Lough, born on October 23, 2000, in Summersville, West Virginia, passed away on March 9, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a tragic vehicle accident. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend.
Dalton was a proud graduate of Webster County High School and was currently employed at Wendy's in Summersville, where he was known for his friendly demeanor and willingness to help others. His infectious enthusiasm for life resonated with everyone he met. Dalton possessed a remarkable spirit, always ready to do anything to assist friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and treasured moments with his brothers. Above all, he held a special bond with his grandmother, Diana Coffman; she was truly his world.
Dalton had a diverse array of hobbies and interests. He found joy in fishing, loved gaming on his Play Station 5, and fast cars all which brought him excitement, reflecting his adventurous nature. His passions contributed to making beautiful memories with friends and loved ones, further illustrating the vibrant life he led. Dalton’s life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared about. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dalton is survived by his father, Jamie (Kelly) Lough; his mother, Rebecca (Robert) Williams; and his siblings, Walker Lough, Wesley Lough, Nicole Litten, Olivia Taylor, Leo Mullens, Jeremy Mullens, and Ace Mullens. He is also survived by his grandparents, Diana Coffman, Ruth (Harold) Williams, Ann (George) Williams, Wilma (Butch) Lough, John Adkins, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Coffman.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Morris Funeral Home in Cowen, West Virginia, on March 16, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 5:00 PM with Pastor Craig Williams officiating. Dalton's wishes for cremation will then be honored.
