Clarence Thomas II, born August 29, 1981 in Summersville, passed away February 7, 2022. The loving husband to Rhonda Thomas, residing in Bean Station, Tennessee, has gone on to Heaven. He accepted salvation in January, and assured us, that “He will be waiting on us there!” He graduated from Richwood High School, and worked as a security guard. He grew up in Nicholas County.
Along with his wife, he leaves behind three minor children, Lilly, Jasmine and Andrew, his parents, mother, Clara “Cookie” Thomas of Nettie, dad, Clarence Thomas and wife Joyce of Hominy Falls, grandmother, Mary Bond of Nettie, sister, “Chelly” Mechelle Lawson and husband Branty of Bean Station, Tennessee, sister, April Dawn Thomas and spouse Donald of Parkersburg, sister, Mary Richardson of Lancaster, South Carolina, brother, Charles Thomas of Pueblo, Colorado and minor siblings, Meagan, Shana, Piper, Pheobe and Clinton at home with dad. He had several aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention but all well Loved.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Beckley Chapel United Methodist Church, Nettie, with Pastor Jack Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at the Thomas Family Cemetery, Hominy Falls. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service Friday at the church.
