Charolette Kay Lynch, a beloved member of the Webster Springs community, passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on August 12, 1951, in Buckhannon, she was a proud 1969 graduate of Webster Springs High School and went on to dedicate over 32 years of her life to public service. Charolette worked diligently in the probation office and as a circuit clerk at the Webster County Courthouse, where she left an indelible mark through her commitment to her work and her community.
Charolette enjoyed a wealth of hobbies and interests that brought joy to her life. She had a passion for camping, shopping, hunting, and fishing, and she relished the thrill of riding Harley's. Her love for cooking was rivaled only by her appreciation for bluegrass music, which provided the soundtrack to many cherished moments. Vacations at Myrtle Beach were a highlight of her life, a time when she embraced the sun and sand with those she loved.
A loving grandmother, Charolette found immense joy in her granddaughter, Dana Lee Lynch Carswell. She also attended the First Baptist Church in Webster Springs, which was not only a place of worship but a foundation of her life and community involvement.
She is survived by her husband, Dana Lynch, Sr., her mother, Jo Bickle Arbogast Davidson, her siblings Joyce Arbogast Jordan (Steve), Edward "Sonny" Arbogast (Louise Hamrick), and John (Brother John) Hickman.
Charolette's passing is deeply felt by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her son, Dana Lynch, Jr., her father, Edward Basil Arbogast, and siblings Larry "Grizz" Arbogast and Shirley Arbogast.
Charolette Kay Lynch will be remembered for her heartfelt dedication to family, her community service, and her zest for life. Her legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morris Funeral Home located at 160 Railroad Avenue, Cowen, WV. She will be remembered with love and gratitude by all whose lives she touched.
