Carl David Jones

Carl David Jones, a beloved figure in the lives of many, was born on December 17, 1951, in Richwood, West Virginia. He passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at the Tygart Center in Fairmont, West Virginia. Carl is remembered for his dedicated career as a security guard in the timber industry, where he not only ensured the safety of those around him but also built meaningful relationships with his colleagues.

Carl's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. His warm personality and willingness to lend an ear made him a cherished part of the lives he touched. The laughter and love shared during these moments will be forever held in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving son, Daniel Jones of Florida; his caring sister, Karen Lucky of Nettie, WV; and his brother, Dwight Jones of South Carolina. Carl also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who valued his companionship and support.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Jones Jr., and siblings William Jones and Linda Jones. He was also preceded in death by his father, Junior William Jones, and his mother, Della Wolford Jones.

Carl David Jones will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the unforgettable moments he created with those he loved. His legacy will live on through the memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Carl's wishes for cremation have been honored.  No additional arrangements have been made at this time.
