Buddy Ross Robinson

Buddy Ross Robinson 75, of Cowen passed away Monday March 20, 2023, at his home after an extended illness. He was born August 3^rd, 1947, in Ohio the son of Roy Wise and the late Ruth Robinson.

Buddy was a retired coal miner he was a member of the Masonic Lodge #107 Camden. Buddy was a Methodist by faith, he was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. Buddy was an avid hunter and loved to bear hunt and listen to the dog’s run. He loved spending time with his family and friends, Buddy also loved spending time at his camp up Gauley.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Barbara, daughters, Nicole (Richie) Short of Cowen, Kim (Rob) Bragg of Cowen, Rhonda (Steve) Henline of Cowen, Angie (Jesse) Miller of Craigsville, grandkids, Jason, Josh, Stephaine, Tiffany, Ashley, Makayla, Dylan, Dakota, Jack, Aliyah, one special grandson-in-law Brad Short, 11 great-grandkids and 2 more on the way, aunt, Rella Stump, along with a number of cousins.

Along with his mother, Buddy was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Robinson, his mother and father-in-law Deb and Audrey Tyler, and several other family members.

Service will be held 1pm Friday, March 24, 2023, at Morris Funeral Home Cowen, with Pastor Doug Martin and Brother Larry Armentrout officiating burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery Cowen. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday March 23, 2023, at Morris Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00PM.
