Brett Alan Lowery

Brett Alan Lowery 45, of Craigsville, West Virginia, left his earthly body on June 30, 2022. Brett was born December 2, 1976, the son of William (Bud) Lowery and Susan Lowery of Cowen, West Virginia.

Brett was a 1995 graduate of Webster County High School. He worked several years for Columbia Forest Products as a lift operator until his diagnosis of cancer at the age of 24. He enjoyed woodworking, glass etching, fishing, bow hunting, cutting wood, riding ATV’s and just spending time in the woods.

Left to cherish their memories of Brett are his parents, sister, Alicia (Dale) McMillion, nephews, Dakota and Kyle McMillion of Cowen, West Virginia, Aunts and Uncles, Harold Whitlock, Diane (Lonnie) Dempsey, Anita (Charles) Campbell, Gary (Mary) Henline, Bettie Wyatt, John (Patsy) Henline, Steve (Rhonda) Henline, Vicki (Mitch) Tacy, Debbie (Ray) Giles, Kim Whalen, a host of cousins and companion Angel Cochran.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents William (Jack) and Margie Lowery, maternal grandparents John (Ted) and Bettie Henline, special Aunt and Uncle Lester and Barbara Swecker.

Brett’s wishes for cremation have been honored.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, with Pastor Craig Williams officiating.

Friends may join the family from 2:00pm until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
