Brenda Kay Gregory

Brenda Kay Gregory, born September 21, 1952, in Buckhannon, passed away on November 4, 2026.

A graduate of Webster Springs High School, Brenda devoted more than 20 years of her life to caring for others as an LPN, working for Seneca and the Webster Continuous Care Center in Cowen. Her work reflected a steady compassion and a commitment to service that touched many lives over the years.

Outside of her profession, Brenda found joy in collecting jewelry and going on drives. She also loved and cared for all animals, a tenderness that spoke to the generous spirit she carried throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, Chad Woods of Cowen; her daughter, Melody Woods of Summersville; and her daughter, Carrie Herrington of Appomattox, Virginia.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Alton Eugene Collins; her mother, Alta Lucille Cutlip Collins; and her sister, Karen Bradley.

Visitation will be held on November 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Morris Funeral Home, 160 Railroad Avenue, Cowen, West Virginia 26206. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Morris Funeral Home, with burial following the service at Hodam Creek Cemetery.
