Bobby Allen Smith

Bobby Allen Smith, 65, of Upper Glade, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at his residence, after several years of declining health. He was born August 24, 1955, in Cowen, a son of the late Kenneth Claude and Lillian Jones Smith.

Bobby was a graduate of Cowen High School and was an honorably discharged U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked in construction most of his life and later worked for Central Concrete at the Summersville Plant. Bobby was an avid reader, enjoyed watching westerns and being outdoors with his family and friends.

Surviving are his step-daughters, Teresa (Wayne) Stevens of Stuart, Virginia and Selina Pritt of Winchester, Virginia, brothers, Kenneth Charles Smith of Cowen and Vic Smith of Cowen and sister, Shirley Ball of Huntington, West Virginia, half-brother, Roger Dale Smith, grandsons, Michael Stevens and Bryson Lloyd.

In addition to his parents, brother, Paul Smith preceded him in death.

Bobby’s wishes for cremation have been honored with no service at this time.
