Betty Jo Jackson

Betty Jo Jackson, 81, of Mt Lookout, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV after a short illness. She was born August 14, 1939 in Kingsport, Tennessee a daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Dixon Couch.

Jo was a former home health care giver, and a homemaker making sure her family was cared for. She was a Baptist by Faith and enjoyed traveling, socializing and helping others. Jo was a special person, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her children, Edward Fannon, Terry Fannon, Charles Fannon, James Johns and Penny Roberts, sister, Dorothy Bailey, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and many other extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, husband, Norman Jackson and 15 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 1:00pm. Monday, August 16, 2021 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, with Pastor Shawn Bragg officiating. Entombment will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin, WV. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:30pm until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
