Betty Ruth Flenner

Betty Ruth Flenner, 86, of Camden on Gauley, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

She was born November 4, 1930 in Richwood, a daughter of the late Edgar and Lydia Westfall.

Betty was a homemaker and a graduate of Cowen High School. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, she was very active in many projects at the church, Betty enjoyed reading, sewing and sitting on her porch answering bible questions from the church bulletin.

Surviving are her daughters, Jeanie Flenner of Camden on Gauley, Terri (Rendal) Payne of Webster Springs, grandsons, Chris (Katrina) Ray of Cowen, Corey (Sheena) Ray of Cowen and great-grandson Wade Ray.

In addition to her parents, brothers, Gene Westfall, Paul Westfall and sister, Mabele Bess preceded her in death.

Service will be 1:00pm. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. James “Oz” Gray officiating. Burial will follow at the Blacks Chapel Cemetery, Camden on Gauley.

Friends may call from 12:00 until time of service, Tuesday at the funeral home.
