Angela Lee Carr

Angela Lee Carr, 40, of Camden on Gauley, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Summersville Regional Medical Center, from complications due to Covid-19. She was born September 10, 1980 in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, daughter of Gregory and Lisa Ann Bresser.

Angela was a 1998 graduate of Garfield High School in Woodbridge, Virginia and a former United States Marine Corps member. She was a member of the town council of Camden on Gauley. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and cooking. Angela had a passion for animals and spent a lot of time rescuing and rehoming animals. She had a love for helping others in the community and will be missed by all who knew her.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, Travis Roach, of Camden on Gauley, loving son and apple of her eye, Ayden Carr of Camden on Gauley, parents, Gregory and Lisa Bresser of Dale City, Virginia, brother, Greg Jr. and Lisa M Bresser of Haymarket, Virginia, nephew, Ben Bresser, nieces, Bethany and Brooke Bresser and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bryan Carr and brother, Derek Bresser.

In honoring Angela’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Angela’s life will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:30am at Morris Funeral Home (Cowen) with Chaplain Jim Dyer officiating. Friends may join the family from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
