Ada Lucille Shaver Perrine

Ada L. Perrine, 86, of Cowen, went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones on Monday, March 20, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 27, 1931 in Weston, WV a daughter of the late Homer F. and Mae Rose Shaver.

Ada is survived by her son, Larry W. Perrine and wife Karen and daughter Patricia Ann Williams and husband Jim. Grandchildren: Tiffany (Todd) Bragg, Bradley (Tabitha) Williams, Gregory (Christie)Williams, Kevin (Jen)Perrine, and Stacey (Homer)Malcomb. Great grandchildren: Andi Vucich, Jessi Vucich, Megan Bragg, Jason Bragg, Tiffany Williams, Hunter Williams, Hayden Williams, Ceressea Williams, Bella Joy Perrine, Willow Eve Perrine and Wren River Perrine. Great-great grandchildren: Jackson Williams, Carlie Williams, Chloe Williams and due in April, Jameson Joseph Ogaz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends, family and children she cared for throughout the years and additionally special friend, Roxanne Temple.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Wallace Perrine, brother Pearl “Brownie” Shaver and sisters, Anna Duncan and Audra Shaver, nieces Linda and Brenda, and nephew Berlin.

Ada was a wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker of many children for working parents. She loved children, flowers and gardening, cooking and baking. Her home was always full of active, noisy kids. Her yard was the playground of the neighborhood. She will be missed.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00pm at Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen.
