Willie Dale “Pepo” Williams, passed away after a long illness, Thursday July 1, 2021, at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was born September 27,1952 in Craigsville, a son of the late Dennis and Susie Short Williams.

Pepo was a former employee of Wolf Creek Coal Company. He enjoyed riding his trike, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Connie Smith Williams, sisters Tessie Williams Christian, Linda Williams and Genevieve Selman and brother, Lloyd Junior Williams.

He is survived by companion, Elizabeth “Libby” Rose, daughters, Lisa Mathes of Cowen, Kayla Williams of Craigsville, son Dennis (Teresa) Williams of Camden on Gauley, step-daughter Leann (Larry) Williams of Craigsville and brother, Arley (Linda) Williams of Cowen, grandchildren, Nathen (Felicia) Spence, Connie Williams (Ricky) , Nikki Williams (Tyler), Gary Williams, Mikey Spence, Amber Spence and Anaya Williams, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brody, Maddox, Alias, Noah, and baby Spence is on the way, his dear friends, James Mullins, Randall “Crack” Wood and Timothy “Turtle” Lewis and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, July 6,2021 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Evangelist Mark Coffman officiating. Burial will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00am until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
