William David Martin, 69, of Camden On Gauley, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 23, 2018 surrounded by his family. David was born on April 17, 1949 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Dana B. and Tessie Atkinson Martin.

He was a 1967 graduate of Cowen High School and attended WV Tech and WV Business College. He was the Administrator at Camden On Gauley Medical Center for 14 years. David was very active in his community serving as secretary of the Camden Masonic Lodge # 107 for many years, Past President of Camden Medical Center Board of Directors, and past member of Cowen Volunteer Fire Department. He served as Mayor and Recorder of Camden On Gauley and was a Charter Member and Officer of Camden on Gauley Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a Charter Member of the Camden On Gauley Order of Eastern Star #161.

David was an avid sports fan and travelled with his buddies to watch the Highlanders and the Mountaineers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a tech guru and loved his computers.

He is survived by wife of 50 years, Edna and daughters, Traci (Richard) Rose and Jennifer (Dr. Douglas) Graham. Grandchildren: Christopher David Wilson, Meagan Elizabeth Wilson, Lillian Kay Graham and Chelsea Diane Dean and Great granddaughter, Zoey Elizabeth King.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Carol Ann Barger and two infant brothers.
