Service will be 12:00pm Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Craig Williams officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.

Vernon Gale Armentrout, 69, of Cowen passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence from an extended illness. He was born February 28, 1949 in Richwood, a son of the late Vernon and Rose Hammons Armentrou
Gale was a former employee of the B.F. Goodrich Rubber Plant in Richwood. He enjoyed yard work, fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving are his brothers, John (Charlotte) Armentrout of Cottle, Larry Armentrout of Cowen, Luke Armentrout of Sutton, Bruce Armentrout of Cowen and Mark Armentrout of Cowen, sisters, Betty Snyder of Chicago and Becky (Allen) Bess of Savanah, Georgia and many other friends and family.
In addition to his parents, brothers Lee and William “Bill” Armentrout preceded him in death.
Service will be 12:00pm Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Craig Williams officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
