Service will be at 1:00pm Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, with Chaplain Jim Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at the Braggs cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00am until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rodney Allen Riddle, 57, of Bragg Run Road, Webster County, passed away suddenly Saturday December 23, 2017 at Summersville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1960 in Richwood. He is the son of Myrtle Roberts Riddle and the late Elburn Riddle.
Rodney was a businessman working in both the coal and agriculture industry, a US Army Veteran, and a 1977 graduate of Webster County High school.
Rodney was a protestant by faith. He enjoyed farming, taking care of his animals, talking on the phone, being on the internet, and trying to create jobs for the community along with always keeping in touch with his family and friends.
Rod is survived by his mother, Myrtle Riddle, his brother Bill (Sharron) Riddle, sister Julia (Estil) Hughes, nephew Jason (Stephanie) Hughes, and great nephews Dustin and Dalen.
He leaves devoted friends Homer Malcomb, Victor McClure, Carl GrayBeal, Jennifer Childers, and her daughter Brianna. In addition to his father, nephew Charlie Riddle proceeded him in death.
