Rocky’s wish for cremation has been honored and a memorial service in his memory will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Robey Godfrey officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 until time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Camp Caesar P.O. Box 428 Cowen, WV 26206.

My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:1-5). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

Dear Hines Family, I remember Rocky well from WSHS . He was a happy and nice person to be around . My heart goes out to you all . I will remember him fondly. May you find peace and comfort through God and All who loved him . God Bless , Sue Messer Lendrum Class of 1972

I enjoyed working with Rocky and sad to hear of his passing. He always had a smile on his face and he always made you feel welcome even when he was at his busiest.

I will remember Rocky as a sweet and funny guy. We graduated high school together in 1973. My heartfelt condolences to his wife, daughters and extended family. I know my fellow class mates of 1973 will always hold a special place in our hearts for Rocky! Rest in peace friend.
