Mildred Pearl Isabell Gregory Harris Cochran, 91, of Glade View, WV, crossed into the gates of Heaven, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Peyton House, Lewisburg, WV. She was born September 27, 1926 in Lake City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Virgil and Edna Mae Lindsey Isabell.

Mildred retired from the Webster County Board of Education with over 31 years of service. She taught at Mill Run, Upper Glade, Sand Run and Glade Elementary. Midge was a graduate of Webster Springs High School and had a Master’s Degree from West Virginia Wesleyan. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, reading, bowling, gardening, canning, going to church and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Janie (Terry) McDaniel of Cowen, Tommy Harris of Glade View, and step-son Jack Gregory. Grandchildren: Brettley, Matt, Ty, Jake, Chrissy, Emily, Isabella, Kyla, Jason and Natalie. Great grandchildren: Tray, Gavin, Raynee, Matthew Jr., Carter, Cara, Brayden, Brooklynn, Damien and Sterling. Step grandchildren, Srah and Jennifer, and special friend Brook Green.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Emory Gregory, Ottie Harris and Robert Cochran, son, David Harris, and brothers Wallace Isabell and Dick Isabell.

Services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, WV, with Pastor Craig Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen.
