Martha Deloris Armentrout, 58, of Cowen went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 4, 2017 with her family by her side.

She was born February 10, 1959, in Richwood, a daughter of the late Denver E. and Martha J. Paugh Mathes. Martha was a cafeteria cook for Webster County Schools with over 15 years of loyal service. She was a graduate of Webster County High School and a Christian by Faith. Martha enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with flowers and her garden, mowing grass, riding Harleys and helping others, most especially doing benefit dinners for cancer patients. Martha just enjoyed being in the outdoors, planting sunflowers and loving her grandson.

She is survived by husband and best friend of over 42 years, Larry Armentrout, children, David A. Armentrout and Jennifer L. Armentrout, both of Cowen, brothers: Allen (Marsha) Mathes of Ohio, Charles Mathes of Cowen, sisters: Linda (Bob) Hamilton of Ohio, Carol (Richard) Rowan of Cowen, Barbara (Ralph) Nolan of Cowen, and her loving grandson, Warran Armentrout and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, brothers James D. Mathes and William J. Mathes preceded her in death.

Service will be 1;00pm. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. James “Oz” Gray, Pastor Larry Cochran, Pastor Craig Williams and Pastor Joan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at the Armentrout Family Cemetery, Dennison Run.
