As I type on this keyboard I am flooded with memories of you Lily. She was more of a mother to me than my biological mother. She took very good care of me and my two brothers when we were young. She loved us even when we weren't very lovable. That's how Jesus Christ loves us. Unconditionally. I will miss you Ms. Lily, but I find great comfort that I will see you and dad again soon. For I know you were a follower of Jesus and for that I praise God! Thank you for pointing me to Christ when I was young. I remember when you and dad would go to prisons and share Christian Movies with the inmates on a reel to reel projector, followed by a presentation of the Good News of the Gospel.. When you came home, we would watch the same movies on the apartment wall. I regret the fact that I spent most of my life running a hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction. When the Good Lord got a hold of me, then and only then, could I be a part of your lives. It was then we were headed in the same boat and in the same direction. I am so grateful to have known you. You were the best helpmate that Daddy could have ever had. He must have called you a million times. I can hear him now "LILY!"It was just a few days ago that you were welcomed into heaven by your Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. I can see in my minds eye. "Welcome Home Good and Faithful Servant!" I pray that He will tell you and dad how much I love you both. Your Beloved Son, Sonny
