Junior R. Williams, 77, of Herndon, WV and Gauley River, Turkey Creek, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born September 23, 1939 in Webster County, a son of the late Everett and Mary Conard Williams.

Junior was a retired coal miner with over 34 years of service, a Christian by faith. He loved to hunt, fish, cut wood, mow grass and be in the outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Pamela Dowdle Williams; children, Larry Joe Williams and companion Robyn Carpenter of Webster Springs, Terry Nelson of Clendenin, and Peggy Lynn and Guy Darnell of Bolair; Brothers, Arnett and Barbara Williams of Webster Springs, Gary and Nancy Williams of Bolair, Sisters, Audrea Hamrick of Boone County, Thelma Beverage of Flatwoods; Grandchildren, Larry Joe Williams II and Cynthiea of Webster Springs, Brandon Rodger Shrewsbury of Cowen, Ashliegh Lyn and Jacob Mann of Princeton, Natashia Christine Williams and companion John Bennett of Princeton, Cody Ryan Shrewsbury of Bolair, Dustin Scott Mills of Bolair, Julia Johanna Williams of Herndon; Great grandchildren, Danny Williams, Levi Williams, Kaige Buzzo, Maverik Mann, Everly Mann, and Jaycee Williams.

In addition to his parents, son Jay R. Williams preceded him in death.
