Judith Ann Long, 87, of Cowen, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 25, 2022 at her residence after sudden illness. She was born May 9, 1934 in Barnett Run, a daughter of the late James and Beuna Marie Selman Farley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David A. Long, brothers, Bert and Frank Farley.

Judy was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a loyal worker at the church food pantry. She was always helping others whether it was making hot dogs at the county fair or cleaning ramps for the annual dinner at Camp Caesar. Judy could always be found either on the porch or in her yard tending to her flowers. Judy was a very special person who will be sadly missed by all knew her.

Surviving are her children, Joseph Elliott Long, Daniel Ross Long, James David Long and Sheila Diane (William) Connelly, brother, grandchildren, Crystal Naus, Harley Long and great-granddaughter, Alexia Smith

Judy’s wishes for cremation and no services have been honored.
