Jim’s request for cremation has been honored and a Memorial Service will be 5:30pm Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Kidd officiating. Military Honors will follow by American Legion Post #62.
A gathering of family and friends will at 3:00pm until time of service, Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center at LAJ-VAMC 00P One Medical Center Dr. Clarksburg, WV 26301. On check memo please write 1907 GPF

Jim and I were classmates at WSHS and graduated together in 1965. He was always smiling and happy go lucky. I remember his nickname was "Vespucci" and that's how he signed my yearbook. I am sorry for your loss and will pray for God to comfort you during this difficult time.

I have set here 5 min or more trying to think of something to say about our Jim bow all I can say he was a true as they come a great friend a lot of fun some one that enjoyed fun all ways told me I was his hero he was a class act a great man some one that will for ever live in our hearts and minds hope the memories of our Jim bow bring you all comfort at this sad time
