In honoring Derma’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday February 20, 2021 from 2pm to 3:30pm at Morris Funeral Home, with a eulogy by brother in-law Gary Perrine.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Perrine family at P.O. Box 263 Cowen, West Virginia 26206

Drema Sue Perrine, loving mother, wife, sister and daughter passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 9, 2021 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. She was born July 16, 1965 in Richwood, a daughter of Annabelle Short Clevenger.

Drema was a 1983 graduate of Webster County High School and a homemaker. Drema was first and foremost a devoted mother to her three daughters. She dedicated herself to being a stay at home mom for her girls. Drema had a passion for baking, taking pictures, watching her hummingbirds, and vacations with her family, such as camping and going to the beach at the Outer Banks. She was known for her warm and helping heart throughout the community. She selflessly provided services and constantly volunteered to help schools, groups, teams, and churches throughout her community. Drema will always be known and remembered for her compassionate spirt, selflessness and love she had for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother, Drema is survived by her loving husband of 37 years David Perrine, daughters Beth Ann Perrine of Beckley, Amy Perrine of Cowen and Holly Perrine of Cowen, sister Cindy Dempsey of Webster Springs, also niece, Samara Dempsey, nephews, Evan Dempsey, Shawn Dempsey and great nephew Freeman McCourt.

Preceding her in death step-father Lewis Clevenger, grandparents Ira and Ida Short, In-laws Herman and Maxine Perrine.
