Burial Date October 6, 2018
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Upper Glade. Friends and family will gather at the church from 2:00pm until 8:00pm to celebrate Luke’s life. An open invitation for anyone who would like to speak will follow the 4:00pm service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation, PO Box 241, Harborcreek, Pa, 16421.

I briefly worked with Dr. McElwain at Ohio Valley Medical Center . He will be sadly missed by his family and his patients. RIP Luke

Luke a great friend and Doctor . Growing up with Luke and John, playing ball around the house, talking about life, and so much more. All through school Luke you was loved and liked by all, now you'll be missed greatly my friend by all! My deepest condolences to his family. May Gods love and forgiveness fill the family's heart on this great loss. Luke has inspired so mine life's , he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend !

A great doctor friend, love and prayers to his family he will greatly missed by all who knew him or came in contact with him. He never knew a stranger, and once a highlander always a highlander + a highlander football alumni will also be missed by The entire Highlander Nation rest in peice my brother .
