Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Paul Rounds officiating. Burial will follow at the Wayne Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Douglas Ray “Doug” Nulter, 57, of Cowen, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 11, 2021 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born June 2, 1963 at Webster Springs, a son of the late Forest and Betty Lewis Nulter.

Doug was a graduate of Webster County High School and a 21 year employee of Columbia Forest Products. He enjoyed working on cars, camping, scary movies and building a solar system for his home. Doug was a hard worker who provided for his family and will be sadly missed by all.

Surviving is his loving wife of 21 years, Donna Wayne Nulter, children, Alex (Megan) Nulter, Brandon (Mary) Nulter, Tony Dodrill, Michael Johnson Jr., all of Cowen and Sasha Hayes of Craigsville, siblings, Jean Nulter, Mark Nulter and April Bragg all of Cowen, grandchildren, Zachary Nulter, Zoey Nulter, Madison Nulter, Levi Nulter, Jakob Nulter, Gracie Hayes and Everly McPherson and many other extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, father-in-law, David Wayne Sr., preceded him in death.
