Denzil Eugene Wright, 71, of Craigsville passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 11, 1945 in Cowen, a son of the late Stanley and Lula Wright.

Denzil was a retired coal truck driver, a graduate of Cowen High School, a U. S. Army Veteran and a Baptist by Faith. He enjoyed car shows, hunting, fishing, and restoring old cars. He was most proud of his 1947 Ford Coupe.

He is survived by his loving companion, Sue Hollandsworth Wright, children, Mary (Darren) Horney of Summersville, Michael (Amanda) Wright of Craigsville, Timothy (Misty) Wright of Marlinton, brother, Roger Wright of Webster Springs, sisters, Judy Sparks of Bolair, Linda Armentrout of Cowen, Diane Robinson of Morgantown, grandchildren, Tassie Thomas, Danay Wright, Logan Wright, Kyle Bailey, Danny Bryant and one great-grandson.

In addition to his parents, brother, Paul Christian and sister, Mary Ellen Wilson preceded him in death.
