Dennis Junior Smith, 60, of Paducah, Kentucky formerly of Webster County passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his residence.

Dennis was a former coal miner and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Paducah and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his life-long companion, Darlene Weitbrecht of Paducah, daughters, Regina (Dave) Marshall of Paducah, Rachelle (Josh) Cozort of Ballard, West Virginia, sons, Dennis Smith of Paducah, Matthew Dewell of Paducah, DuWayne (Shannon) Jackson of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Keith (Erin) Jackson of Spanish Fort, Alabama, sisters, Shelby Wickline of West Virginia, Ardenna Smith of California, Lena Mae Wright of West Virginia, brothers, Charles Smith of Texas, Denver Smith of Ohio. 3 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Jefferson and Phyllis June Shaver Smith, sons, Michael George Smith, Christopher William Smith, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Graveside services were 11:00am. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Little Union Cemetery, Calvin with Pastor Carmel Sanson officiating.
