Dear nieces, Our hearts go out to you during this time of grieving & adjustment. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not able to attend Dan's services, but you are in our hearts & prayers. We have so many beautiful memories of all the family get togethers & all you children growing up. Dan was so talented - the figurines he carved using glass & the carvings on the fireplace were beautiful. May the LORD richly bless you every day of your lives & may you live in His presence when this life is over. Love & prayers, Roger & Sherry

Girls, I'm really sorry to see where your Dad has passed away. I worked with him at Webster Springs and Upper Glade for 30 years. We had our disagreements as teachers and principals always will, but they were all reconciled amiably with good outcomes. We often reminisced about our young years in Webster County, the eccentric characters we knew, family genealogy, books, and many other topics. His contribution to Webster County education was significant and he will not be forgotten. Best wishes to you guys and enjoy life as your mom and dad would have wanted you to.
